Join the Kansas City Local Program Chapter of ACHE — a bi-state collaboration between ACHE of Kansas and MO-ACHE — for a morning educational session and networking coffee on April 14 from 8:00-10:00am on Sustainable Strategies for Today's Healthcare Workforce. 

As an independent chartered chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, ACHE of Kansas, is authorized to award 1.5 hours of ACHE In Person Education credit toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. All ACHE members are invited to join - either from the KC area or outside of it.

Topic description

Healthcare organizations continue to navigate evolving workforce challenges shaped by rising burnout, staffing shortages, and increasing demands on care delivery. These pressures impact both individual well-being and overall system performance, highlighting the need for thoughtful, sustainable approaches rather than short-term solutions.

At the same time, there is growing opportunity to strengthen the workforce through improved collaboration, resilient team structures, and supportive work environments. High-performing teams, effective processes, and a focus on well-being are essential to adapting in today’s dynamic healthcare landscape.

This panel will provide a high-level exploration of key workforce trends, challenges, and opportunities, along with practical strategies to support well-being, enhance team performance, and build more sustainable, collaborative healthcare organizations.
